The Cure is a five-person post-punk rock band from Crawley, England that has been performing since 1978 to 2023. The band is known for its innovative new-wave style, this creates the moody songs that are laced with Gothic imagery that embrace melancholic and lovesick themes which we've known to love. The bands posters have a mix of dark, muted, and bright colors while also showing Robert Smith's face (since he's the main singer). My overall design for my poster is to show the bands sounds through their style while also keeping Robert a part of the theme.
